Dog Grooming in Gurgaon: Every Breed, Every Coat
Pawmiable provides complete dog grooming in Gurgaon at Conscient One Mall, Sector 109. Every session includes bath, blow dry, breed-specific haircut, de-shedding, nail trim and ear cleaning, starting at ₹899. Certified groomers handle every breed. Open 10 AM to 9 PM, seven days.
A good dog grooming session starts with a coat assessment, not just a tub. Our groomers check for matting, skin issues and ear condition before water touches the coat, then match the shampoo, water temperature and drying to your dog's breed.
From Shih Tzu teddy bear cuts to Golden Retriever de-shedding blow-outs, the haircut follows breed standards and your preferences. You get the full quote before we start.

Dog breeds we groom
17 breeds, one rule: the cut matches the coat, never the other way round.
17 breeds
and every mix in between
- 01
Shih Tzu
Shih Tzus need grooming every 4 to 5 weeks because their silky coats mat quickly. We do Shih Tzu haircuts including the puppy cut, top-knot style and teddy bear cut, with face trim and eye-area cleaning included.
- 02
Golden Retriever
Goldens shed heavily and need a groom with de-shedding every 5 to 6 weeks. We do a full bath, de-shedding blow-out, feathering trim on legs and tail, and ear cleaning. Their dense undercoat needs specialist tools, and we have them.
- 03
Husky
Huskies blow their coat twice a year in Gurgaon's climate. We do a high-velocity blow-out de-shedding that removes the undercoat without cutting. Our groomers never shave a Husky.
- 04
Pug
Pugs have facial folds that collect debris. Our Pug grooming includes fold cleaning, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning and a light de-shedding bath that reduces their heavy shedding.
- 05
Indie Dog
Indian street dogs and indie rescues are our favourites. They often arrive with heavy matting, fleas or skin issues. We handle them with extra patience, medicated baths and a full skin assessment.
The details that matter
Everything our groomers would tell you in person, written down.
How we match the haircut to the breed
A Shih Tzu cut is not a Poodle cut, and a Golden Retriever should never leave looking like a Labrador. We start every haircut with the breed standard, then adjust to your preferences and your dog's daily life.
For example: Shih Tzus suit the teddy bear cut or a top-knot style with the face kept short. Goldens get a natural outline with feathering trimmed on the legs, chest and tail, never shaved. Poodles and doodles handle fuller clips, while Pugs and short-coated breeds need trimming only around the face, paws and sanitary areas.
- Puppy cut and teddy bear cut for Shih Tzu, Maltese, Bichon
- Natural outline and feathering trim for Goldens and Cocker Spaniels
- Asian fusion and apple cut for Poodles, doodles and long coats
- Never-shaved rule for Huskies, Labs, GSDs and all double coats
Skin and coat problems we catch early
The groomer is often the first person to notice what is happening under the coat: hot spots, matting against the skin, dry flaking, ear redness, or a lump that was not there last time. We point out everything we find and tell you whether it needs a vet.
Grooming is not veterinary care, but a trained eye at every session catches issues months before they become expensive problems.
- Hot spots and rashes: flagged, and we adjust products accordingly
- Matting against the skin: removed gently or shaved out if too close
- Ear redness and odour: pointed out for a vet check
- Lumps and bumps: noted so you can track changes over visits
Gurgaon seasons and your dog's coat
Summer brings heavy shedding and skin irritation from dust and heat. Monsoon humidity makes coats damp and prone to mats and fungal growth between the toes. Winter's dry air causes flaking, and the post-winter coat blow fills homes with fur.
The session that fits each season differs: de-shedding blow-outs before summer and after winter, medicated baths during monsoon rashes, and deep conditioning in winter. Tell us what you are seeing at home and we match the session to it.
Aftercare: keeping the groom fresh at home
Small habits between visits stretch every session by weeks.
- Brush silky coats for 5 minutes daily, focusing on ears, legs and belly
- Book de-shedding just before coat-blowing season (Feb-Mar and Sep-Oct)
- Wipe paws after walks to keep monsoon moisture out of the coat
- Check ears weekly for redness or smell between sessions
- Avoid home baths between visits; if you must, use a pH-balanced dog shampoo

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers, no fine print.
How much does dog grooming cost in Gurgaon?
Dog grooming at Pawmiable starts at ₹899 for the Essential Groom. The Signature Groom is ₹1,149 and the full Paw-fection makeover with a styled haircut is ₹1,599. The exact quote depends on breed size and coat condition, and we share it before we start.
How often should my dog be groomed?
Shih Tzu, Maltese and Bichon coats need grooming every 4 weeks. Golden Retrievers and Cocker Spaniels every 5 to 6 weeks. Labradors, German Shepherds and Huskies every 6 to 8 weeks with de-shedding. Pugs, Beagles and Indies every 6 to 8 weeks for a bath and nail trim.
Do you do breed-specific haircuts?
Yes. Shih Tzu puppy cut, top-knot and teddy bear cut, Golden Retriever feathering trims, Poodle clips and more. Tell us the style you want and we match it to your dog's coat.
What if my dog is anxious at the groomer?
We use slow introductions, gentle restraint and plenty of patience. Anxious dogs get extra time and a calm, quiet handling style. Many first-timers settle within the first 15 minutes.
Is de-shedding included in dog grooming?
Light combing and coat conditioning are included in every package. A full de-shedding blow-out is available as an add-on at ₹299, and we recommend it for Golden Retrievers, Labradors and Huskies.
